White Weave

White Weave is a series of three artworks all made from items collected from trash bins, recycling, the street or my own home. Some of the items include venetian blinds, computer cords, plastic grocery bags, a skirt, yarn and lampshades. Together, the works explore the creation of something new through the combination and transformation of discarded objects. Can the original be created from pieces of that which is the product of reproduction?
