IZZY WAITE is an artist and curator working between painting, drawing, publishing and teaching. Her studio and curatorial research focuses on the impact of the arts on individual and community wellbeing. In her studio practice, wellbeing is centered through the digestion of experiences via the recreation of the physical environment, often reflecting architecture and the decorative arts.

In 2017, Izzy co-founded Pink Salt Art Collective, a socially-minded platform engaging the community of Milwaukee, WI, USA through the visual arts. A recurring project for the collective was Makewell Zine, a contributor-based publication. In addition to Makewell, Pink Salt provided socially motivated arts programming and exhibitions around the city of Milwaukee. Pink Salt dissolved to focus on other projects in 2021.

In 2022, Izzy co-founded no exits, a bi-annual publication centered around conversations with artists, writers, makers, cultural workers and friends. Noexitsmag.com is accompanied by an annual printed anthology with the second edition, including issues FOIL and SOFT, available in Summer 2025. Read no exits here.
