Toast
Landscape painting has a long history with notable changes to approach occurring in the modernist era. For my own landscape study, I challenged myself to utilize paint skins to form abstracted landscapes. My canvas of choice was store-brand white bread. Along with bread being the sustenance of life, the absurdity of its use challenged the landscape paintings I was trying to avoid reproducing.
